2025 (4th) Shanghai Cooperation Organization International Investment and Trade Expo

The 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) International Investment and Trade Expo, a key event during China's tenure as the rotating chair of the SCO as announced by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was held from July 17th to 20th. This expo was co - hosted by the Qingdao Municipal People's Government, and organized by the Administrative Committee of the China - SCO Local Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone and the People's Government of Jiaozhou. It took "Sharing New Opportunities and Seeking New Development" as its theme.

At the site of this year’s Shanghai Cooperation Organization International Investment and Trade Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "SCO Expo"), a batch of mobile Prefabricated Houses with innovative designs and complete functions have become a highlight of the event. Featuring "ready-to-use and flexible adaptation", they provide diversified services for exhibitors, staff and visitors. They not only demonstrate the innovative concept of green buildings but also serve as an "invisible support" for the efficient operation of the expo.

In addition to being efficient and convenient, the design of these mobile Prefabricated Houses also incorporates the concepts ofgreen environmental protection and intelligent adaptation. According to relevant person in charge, the main structure of the Prefabricated Houses is made ofrecyclable materials, which can be completely disassembled and reused after the expo, minimizing construction waste. Meanwhile, some Prefabricated Houses are equipped with energy-saving lighting and ventilation systems to reduce energy consumption by optimizing the internal environment.
